Did you ever try putting an opt-in box on your Facebook Page?

Here’s how to create your very own opt-in box on Facebook in 7 easy steps:
(yes you will need an autoresponder tool such as aweber for this)

1. On Facebook, do an App search for “MyInfo” by ‘XtremelySocial’
2. Click on the application name; then in the upper left hand corner click on ‘Go To Application’
3. Click ‘Allow’
4. Now you’re on the App page, and there’s a big box in the middle of your page to paste in your autoresponder’s html code.
5. Go to aWeber in a new browser winder and create a form, copy and then paste the code into the big box on the Facebook App Page.
   TIP: use the header and footer area to create a good explanation of what this opt-in thingy on your Facebook page is.

   Here is the footer I used:

6. ‘Preview’ shows your form full-width but fortunately – it shows up column-width on your profile page
7. Click Update, and the app will take you to your profile and ask you if you want to keep it.
