BoxOnline Introduction and Profile:
In 1999, BoxOnline was founded in Zug, Switzerland to build, launch and manage European sales and marketing teams for US based start-ups. Eleven years later, the team has an impressive track record of business development success and today is comprised of 22 highly skilled individuals who focus on delivering measurable results for Clients in their technical, creative and research oriented roles. Most of our work at BoxOnline focuses on one key question: How can we help our Client make more money.

Dr. Ted Box, managing director of BoxOnline and board member of the b6 group Switzerland, is a results driven, business development executive with over 20 years of international experience in helping Clients increase profits and take their business to the next level.

During the past decade BoxOnline gained recognition by increasing sales, profits or market share for several Corporate Clients such as BroadVision Inc, Tumbleweed Communications, The Swiss Post, Webforia Inc, Espotting Media, Pogo, Find What Inc, MIVA, Overture Services, Yahoo!, Fantastic Corporation, Tenfore International, Micrognosis, Comit, Baloise Insurance Ltd, Thomson Reuters and dozens more.

Prior to founding the company, Dr. Box was a Global Account Manager with telecom giant AT&T tasked with a variety of initiatives including the European Internet Services Roll Out in the mid 1990s while his team implemented One to One Marketing Services within accounts in the Finance sector. In addition to post graduate studies in e-commerce, negotiation strategies, neurolinguistics and online marketing, Dr Box received his business process consulting certification from Kepner Tregoe in Princeton, NJ, earned a Ph.D. in psychology and his MBA after receiving undergraduate degrees in Finance and Marketing from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA. USA.

  • Restructured a Swiss management firm operating ten US based – precious metal exploration companies, 4 sales organizations and 3 subsidiaries. Our efforts saved the organization $3.5 million in costs and provided a profitable exit strategy for two of their investments.
  • Assisted a European bio-tech company with raising €7 million and raised $3 million for a gold exploration company in a 90 day cycle.
  • Completed process analysis and project management methodology implementation for a Swiss investment firm so that they have access to decision metrics and manageable guidelines for their project management and controlling staff plus a consistent, simple method for training new hires.
  • Optimized the sales process for an online marketing company with 8 employees and increased their top line revenues by 32% and net profits by 66%.
  • Helped a young start-up protect their plan to double their growth within 6 months -  they have now achieved their goal!
  • Implemented BoxOnline’s PPA process to identify risks, schedule preventative actions and set up a contingency plan for a large chemical company with a big potential problem. One of seven identified likely causes was deemed unacceptable by the board of directors. The risk was reduced and the likely cause neutralized in under a month.
  • Launched 35 iPhone Apps since 2009 with two top 10 results in Apple’s iTunes App Store’s business apps section. iPhone Apps help to reinforce brand recognition and with the right mix of content and user value… reinforce the brand as an innovative leader.
  • We are now helping 3 firms leverage our product launch process. One Client wants to enter a new market with an existing product, another Client is introducing a new product to an existing market and the third Client is about to re-launch an existing product into an existing market.
